iOrange makes all sorts of high quality cables for your mobile lifestyle. They make USB-C cables, Micro USB cables, and lightning cables. These come in all sorts of lengths with braided or rubber coatings, and there are even fancy retractable cables if you’re always on the go. I was stoked when I got the chance to review their new USB-C 10ft braided cable.

Unboxing
This cable comes packaged in a simple box, with nothing else inside. The cable is wrapped with a detachable velcro strap which you can use to tie up the cable whenever you need to. There isn’t much else to the unboxing experience – just plug it in and use it!
Personal Use Case
I’m using this cable with the wall plug that came with my Nexus 6P, at my desk. I thoroughly enjoy having the cable plugged in on one side of my desk and being able to wrap it around to the other side with plenty of cable left, should I need to use my phone while it is charging. While I haven’t had to take it with me on any trips yet, when I do go on trips it will most certainly prove handy should any outlets be tucked away in inconvenient locations.
Experience
A key marketing point of this cable is that it is braided. And this is no gimmick. The cable will bend and unbend as you choose to, so you’re never left with annoying kinks in the cable that refuse to come out. The nylon fiber makes this a cable that will stand up to daily usage without ever splitting or bunching like some other cables do *cough*Apple*cough*.
As it should, the iOrange USB-C cable fully supports 3A charging, so you will see the familiar “Charging rapidly” notice on your lock screen whenever you use this to charge your Nexus 5X/6P.
Fancy Color Options
This cable comes in three different colors; black, gold and silver. iOrange provided me with the gold color which I personally dig. If you have a sweet, white desk, this cable will go great with your setup. Not only does it look great, but every time you plug this cable into your device, it just feels right.
Overall Impressions
So I think my thoughts on this product are pretty clear. This is a great cable to purchase if you have any USB-C devices. It’s built well, looks great, and even feels great. I would highly recommend that you pick up this cable or some other sweet products from iOrange, you won’t be disappointed.
