Honor 7X will start receiving Android 8.0 Oreo update Starting Monday April 30th

If you got an Honor 7X get ready because starting Monday April 30th Honor will start rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update in the USA.

Just a few weeks back Honor USA announce the enrollment to join the Beta testing for Android Oreo for the Honor 7x, But just now on tweeter the announce the this upcoming Monday April 30th the roll out will start. We were one of  the lucky ones to participate on the Beta program and we have already receive 2 updates, the fist one was to get our Honor 7X to Android Oreo along all the goodies like Doze which have improve battery performance quite well.

On the Second update we receive a new feature which is Face Unlock and to our surprise it works very good and is super fast, If you got an Honor 7X  get excited because this is a sweet update!

What’s new that we know:

  • New floating navigation dock
  • Updated setting menu and Phone Manager
  • Phone gallery recycle bin
  • Seamless LinkedIn integration
  • Link up two Bluetooth device
  • Face unlock
