iVoler Nexus 6P Tempered Glass Screen Protector Review

Pros

  • Slim
  • Good protection
  • Good feel
  • Easy installation
  • 9H hardness
  • Lifetime Warranty

Cons

  • Adhesive might not last long

The iVoler 6P tempered glass screen protector comes with an alcohol wipe, microfiber cloth, and sticker for removing dust. It has everything you need to get your screen clean and prepared for installation. You definitely want to get it spotless before you install. As it will drive you nuts seeing something stuck under there once it’s installed.

Some early screen protectors didn’t include a notch cut out for the proximity sensor.  Including the original one that iVoler sent me. This can cause some issues when using your phone. So make sure to get one with the notch cut out like the replacement they sent me.

After installing there is a little gap around the edges, leaving you plenty of space for installing a case. It resists scratches up to 9H, which it says is harder than a knife. So this should do pretty well up against your keys, or whatever else is in your pocket.

The iVoler screen protector also has an oleophobic coating which gives it a nice smooth feeling, and will help keep fingerprints from showing up. It’s not quite as smooth as the original glass but much better than any plastic protector you might try. The glass is very clear making it easy to see your screen and it’s also very responsive to touch.

About a month after installing, I noticed it was starting to come up around a couple corners and the edges. However iVoler has a lifetime warranty, and as soon as I contacted them they were quick to offer me a replacement at no charge. So you know they at least stand behind their product, and care about their customer’s satisfaction.
