Android 8 Oreo Factory Images and OTA updates are now available for Nexus & Pixel devices

A little over a week Google announce Android 8 Oreo and immediately people in the beta program started receiving this OTA but now Google Developer have added the Factory images and also the OTA updates.

Yo can now head over the Google developers page were you will find links to download all the Factory images as well as the OTA update files. Just to clarify the Factory Images will require to unlock your bootloader vs the OTA update files can be apply without any software modification just apply it and you are done.

There’s 2 builds for for the Pixel device depending on your model just make sure you grad the correct file

 

  • Pixel – OPR6.170623.011
    (Bell, Telus, Telstra, TMO, Sprint, USCC, Rogers/Fido), OPR6.170623.012 (other carriers)
  • Pixel XL – OPR6.170623.011
    (Bell, Telus, Telstra, TMO, Sprint, USCC, Rogers/Fido), OPR6.170623.012 (other carriers)
  • Pixel C – OPR6.170623.010
  • Nexus 6P – OPR6.170623.013
    (NOT for TMO/USCC/Fi)
  • Nexus 5X – OPR6.170623.013
