When the Moto 360 Sport was announced a few months ago at IFA 2015, Motorola said it would launch later in 2015. And it did – in the UK. And now a few days into 2016, you can finally order the watch you may or may not have been waiting for in the US.

The Moto 360 Sport has mostly the same features as the Moto 360 v2, but instead of your choice of leather/metal bands, it features a fully silicone band (prone to attracting lint and such). However, the band is built to last, doesn’t absorb sweat, has anti-fading properties and some side-ventilation. It also has a built-in GPS to track runs, and it works with the Moto Body app. Keep in mind, this feature has been known drain the battery significantly. Motorola also claims that this features a hybrid display, featuring AnyLight so you can read it in all lighting situations.

The Moto 360 Sport has three different color options, black, white and red. You can buy the it for $299 at Moto.com, as well “other online retailers” (which probably refers to Verizon) and, starting January 10th, at select BestBuy stores and the Moto Shop in downtown Chicago.
