Project Fi App for Android 7.0 Nougat adds real-time data usage info

If you are using Project Fi as your wireless service, and if your device is running Android 7.0 Nougat installed, You can now get more accurate information on how much data your device ir using.

Google also revealed that this is possible by a server-side update that enables real-time data uses with the Project Fi app. This was known to us by a earlier post on Reddit by the company’s manager.

We are excited to share that we will be improving how we relay data usage on the Project Fi app for users running Android N and at least app version K.2.7.20 on their primary Talk & Text device.

It’s great to see Google Project Fi bringing this small but valuable features for a better service experience.
