B&H Photo now has the G5’s friends up for pre-order on their site. Pricing hadn’t been revealed for these yet, but now we get to see what having friends is really worth. The LG CAM Plus is a reasonable $69.99 which surprises me I was certain it would cost more. The LG VR Smartphone Headset and LG 360 CAM Spherical Camera are both $199.99.
LG unveiled the G5 and it’s “friends” at MWC. The LG CAM Plus adds a grip to the G5 making it easier to hold. Plus a shutter, power, record, zoom buttons, and additional 1200mAh battery. It also features an LED indicator light, exposure lock, and autofocus.
The LG VR Smartphone Headset simulates a 130 inch screen from 6.6 feet away. Connects to the G5 through a USB-C cable. It is compatible with Google Cardboard content. Features a foldable design and is a light 4.16oz.
The LG 360 CAM Spherical Camera allows you to take 2K 360° video along with 5.1 surround sound. Using dual 13MP sensors with 200° wide angle lenses. You can also take photos and upload directly to Google Street View and Youtube360. It includes 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, and a 1200mAh battery.
