Starting today, AT&T customers can begin using NumberSync on the LG G Pad X 10.1. As the first Android tablet compatible with NumberSync, customers will be able to make and receive voice and video calls using the same mobile number their family, friends, and colleagues recognize.
These customers can activate NumberSync through a software update that will be delivered to their tablet. All they need to do is follow the set-up prompts when they get the notification that an update is available.[ad id=”2764″]
NumberSync operates on AT&T’s wireless network and is not dependent on a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone. It will work even if the customer’s primary phone is off.
An HD Voice capable smartphone is required. Video calling requires the paired smartphone to also be video-call-capable.
