If you love being on the bleeding edge of technology or you’re a developer looking to test your app. Then you’re going to want to check out what Google released today. The Android N preview officially went online today, and if you own a Nexus 5X, 6, 6P, 9, Nexus Player, or Pixel C then you can flash it right now.

However you might wanna hold off. As this is an early preview and is sure to have bugs. It may or may not be stable enough to be your daily driver. It will also wipe all your data, and you won’t be able to receive any over the air updates. Instead you might wanna wait for the beta program to open up, hopefully later today. Where you can expect to get OTA updates and not have to wipe your device each time there is an update.

Android N preview will introduce some new features. Such as a multitasking which will allow you to run two apps side by side. Much like on Samsung devices. As well as newly designed quick toggles at the top with an expansion arrow in the notification panel. Also you will be able to reply to notifications directly from the notification panel, much like you can do now with Hangouts. Doze is also getting an upgrade, it will now start working when the screen goes off. Instead of waiting for your device to become idle.

Now that you’ve heard what Android N preview has to offer and you’ve been properly warned. If you still want to flash your device instead of waiting for the beta program to open. You can find the download links here and installation instructions here.
