Carl Pei co-founder of OnePlus recently talked with CNET, and told them that the OnePlus 3 will launch by the end of the second quarter. Pei says he hopes this new one will captivate users as much as the first OnePlus One. He mentioned a new design and also focusing on the US market more. Besides that not much was said about the upcoming device. However there is a supposed leaked trailer giving us a glimpse at what it might look like.

They plan on using some more traditional marketing techniques this time around. Another change Pei mentioned is a better buying process. Although he doesn’t go into detail how exactly it will be better. Perhaps they might drop the invitation scheme, but I wouldn’t count on it. As it still seems to be an efficient way to control demand, and a cheap way to build buzz for the product.
