Today is Safer Internet Day 2016 and to celebrate Google is offering up 2GB of extra storage for Google Drive. There is a catch though you have to run through their Google security checkup tool. Which isn’t much of a catch, and is a good idea to do anyways.
These days we keep more and more data in the cloud and it’s always a good idea to back up your files. Google Drive is only one of the cloud options out there, but one all Android users have access to already. If you have a Gmail account, and if you have an Android phone or tablet then I’m sure you do. Then you also have access to Google Drive.
It’s really quick and easy to run through the checkup tool, and the 2GB will automatically be added to your Drive account. So, what are you waiting for? Click the link and get your free 2GB of storage, make sure your account is secure, and thanks to Google for giving us an incentive to stay secure.
