The Shield TV is one of the best Android TV devices that you can buy, and it looks like Nvidia will be updating it to Marshmallow soon. They gave Android Headlines a look at the new update and features at CES today.
Some of the new features include being able to customize the recommendation section. A new version of the App Store where you can view things by category, and see the top free or paid apps. As well as the ability to drag apps to the trash can to uninstall them. Much like you would on your phone or tablet. Plus you can even change the wallpaper now. They also tout that they are the only one who can play 4K 60fps videos, although only locally stored. Check out the video below to see it in action.
It will roll out OTA later this month.
