Google has just redesigned their comic section and the way you read them on your mobile devices. Now you can flip your device on it’s side and scroll vertically through the pages. Making it easier to see the images and follow through the story.
They also have a new comics destination page with them organized by volumes, issues, and other editions. Not to mention new personalized recommendations, to help you discover new comic series.
The Play Store includes comics like The Walking Dead, Justice League, Deadpool, and Mortal Kombat. As well as many more from publishers like DC Comics, Marvel, Image, IDW, and Dark Horse. For a limited time they are offering a free selection of comics, to help you start your collection. You can grab a free issue of The Walking Dead, Batman, Spawn, and many more here.
Starting now for Android users (with iOS soon to follow) in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK, India, Singapore, Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa. Get them while you can and check back on Thursdays when they say the selections will be refreshed with new ones.
