A Redditor got his hands on a sample Nexus 6P and gave it a run against the iPhone 6. There has been a lot of talk about the large sensor on this years Nexus phones. While it’s only 12mp the larger pixels should equate to better quality photos, especially in low lighting. Dxomark has it ranked among the top phones in picture quality. Currently it’s at 3 with a score of 84, while the iPhone 6 is 9 with a score of 82.
As you can see those pixels really do seem to suck up some more light here in these night time shots. However it does look like maybe the lens could have been dirty in a few of the iPhone shots.
There is no EXIF info so we can’t confirm what these were taken with, and remember this is pre production hardware and software.
