Announced at CES 2016 earlier this month, the 10 inch MediaPad M2 was slated for a US launch in quarter 1 of 2016. Now, we have word that the MediaPad M2 has passed FCC clearance, so we can now expect a US launch anytime in the near future.

The MediaPad M2 features a 10 inch IPS-LCD display, a Hisilicon Kirin 930 processor, a 6660 mAh battery, 16GB of storage, 2GB RAM for the standard edition, and 64GB of storage and 3GB RAM for the premium edition, Android 5.1 Lollipop with EMUI 3.1 overlayed, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera, a fingerprint scanner, Harman Kardon speakers, and it comes in silver and gold colors.

While on paper the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 seems somewhat impressive – as seen with other Huawei devices – the software may be the weakest point of this device. But, the performance remains to be seen with the Kirin processor around.
